Lori Katz
Movement has been a driving force for Lori all of her life. Starting dance lessons at age three Lori worked her way up to a professional dance company and party motivator while still in high school. She spent many summers touring and performing with her company. Additionally, she traveled to take professional classes in New York, New Jersey, and Las Vegas. As a dance minor at Rollin’s College, Lori had the opportunity to learn from a Joffrey Ballet Master as well as Robert Sherry, a student of Bob Fossey. Lori’s sense of grace, balance and style are directly related to her extensive dance experience in tap, ballet, jazz, and modern expression.
Unable to find a dance studio locally that fit her needs, Lori tried a Yoga class. It was love at first Asana!
She is trained in many different styles of Hatha Yoga including Vinyasa, Yin, Ashtanga, Anutara and BIrkram. She hold certification specializing in Vinyasa Krama as well as YogaFit Certification and Yoga Alliance RYT 200 hr. As a mother to Brandon she has a special love for new parents and is ACE Pre and Post Natal Yoga certified as well. Lori has been teaching both Yoga and Water Aerobics in Florida since 2005.
Lori tries to help her students find their inner peace not just on their mats, but throughout their lives as well. Lori’s attention to the body positioning and individual physical needs make her a popular and effective instructor.
